After many years of painting my own Warhammer 40,000 armies, I opened Pear Tree Commission Painting studio in 2023 (with my chief everything else officer Alice) so that those who love table top gaming could have high quality painted miniatures too. In that short time we’ve grown from 40k focused, to undertaking commissions for board game miniatures, collectable items, promotional figures and sentimental ornaments. Low on time? No space to paint? Can’t afford a full army all at once? Each project commissioned is bespoke to what you need. You bring the idea, I figure out how to make it work to get your models on the tables!
Services Offered
• Building: It is always quicker if you provide us with pre-built models, however we can build for you too. Building well is a critical first step to a quality finish.
• Painting: We adjust the complexity of the paint on your miniatures to the standard you need, with as much or as little customisation as you want.
• Basing: Basing is an important part of your commission as a whole. A high level basing scheme will elevate your individual miniature
• Terrian: An important part of anyone’s hobby journey is having great terrain!
• Vouchers: You can give the gift of a prepaid commission, depending on their needs and the size of the force they want to have painted.
Pricing
Pricing varies depending on model size, detail level, and requested finish.
Projects generally start from:
• 28mm (Imperial Guard infantry):from $19 per model
• 32mm (Space marines) from $25 per model
• Terminator equivalent troops $35 per model
• Larger models (Space marine tanks): $90 - $120 per model
• Knights, Primarchs and larger daemons; $200-250 per model
Custom quotes are available for armies or larger commission work.
